For the Sauce/Marinade:
- 2 tablespoons white miso paste
- 1 tablespoon tamari or low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon ginger juice
- 1 tablespoon bone broth or water
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice flour or cornstarch
For the Beef Stir Fry:
- 1½ pounds flank steak thinly sliced against the grain
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons ghee or extra virgin olive oil
- 2 shallots thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- Black pepper to taste
For Serving (Optional):
- 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
- Pickled ginger
- Green onions sliced
Prepare the Miso Marinade:
In a bowl, whisk together white miso paste, tamari, ginger juice, bone broth, honey, sesame oil, and flour/cornstarch until smooth.
Sauté the Vegetables:
In the same skillet, add shallots, garlic, ginger, and broccoli. Stir-fry on high for 3–4 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.
For a gluten-free version, use tamari and rice flour.
You can replace broccoli with bok choy, snap peas, or mixed stir-fry vegetables.
To keep it low carb, serve with cauliflower rice or lettuce wraps.
